Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Lumper is responsible for cleaning and ensuring an orderly condition in the warehouse. Ensures sanitation of work areas. Breaking down pallets and offloading trucks. Remove empty pallets from location and place in an accumulation area by pallet size

 

Schedule

  • Shred cardboard materials for use as packaging
  • Stacking and storing pallets
  • Lifting repetitively up to 50lbs
  • Keeps company grounds free of litter and debris
  • Sweep and maintain warehouse clutter free
  • Open to learning new things
  • Comply with Company safety procedures in the workplace
  • Performs other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

Qualifications

 

  • High achiever/performer-strive for maximum service needs

  • Trench worker willing and ready to perform any job necessary
  • Ability to work as a team member-works as a co-worker
  • Communicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to solve routine problems and solve basic math
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
  • Warehouse experience helpful but not necessary
  • Riding pallet Jack experience preferred, not required
