Position Type: Full Time Department: Finance Shift: 8:00am -4:30pm Days: Monday - Friday

Job Description: The Credit Administrator ensures that customer files are created and maintained timely, accurately and that all documentation is complete. Ability to work in fast paced credit/collection environment. Must be able to effectively prioritize work to maximize performance. Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor all requests for new customer account set up.
  • Audit and compile supporting credit documents to verify complete and accurate information. Use various reporting services for research including but not limited to:
  • Public Database Records
  • Credit Bureau Reports
  • Prepare completed customer set up package with suggested credit terms for approval.
  • Responsible for all Customer Maintenance and Customer Files.
  • Responsible for updating and tracking required resale tax documents according to state laws.
  • Update and maintain email addresses and address files.
  • Complete supplier trade credit reference inquiries.
  • Complete NACM Trade Group Reports.
  • Update Portfolio Monitor report.
  • Backup for Cash Application.
  • Process Electronic Checks.
  • Process Credit Card payments.
  • Manage territory of assigned accounts. Reconcile customer accounts as necessary, research skipped invoices, short payments and unidentified/ambiguous payments and credits, correct account discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer inquiries on accounts, initiate refund process.
  • Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
