    Responsibilities

    The Customer Service Representative will take customer orders via telephone, voice mail, email and online ordering. Utilizes a computer to enter data, retrieve pricing for customer. Vital point of contact for internal and external communication. Rep is responsible for the accuracy of each order they key, assisting the sales department with order guides, and other projects as assigned by the supervisor. Customer Service Rep will partner with management and Sales Reps to help resolve customer questions and complaints. Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.

    • Knowledge of retail, wholesale and produce industries.
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and customer satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of Computer Information Systems preferred are Bosanova/Retalix and Sequel (training provided), and AS 400.
    • Critical Thinking, ability to use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
    • Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally.
    • Adaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved
    • Ability to work independently and follow through of tasks.
    • Must ensure all order entry is complete and no miss keys.
    • If missing any information for order the rep must take responsibility to gather all information needed.
    • Ability to prioritize daily tasks with sense of urgency.
    • Strong Mathematical skills: use basic arithmetic, and statistics for daily computations and problem solving.
    • Proficient Computer skills: proficiency of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and 10 key.

    Qualifications

    • Two years of customer service experience, preferred
    • Professional and courteous phone skills.
    • Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Must have ability to multitask.
    • Proficient Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
    • Ten key
    • Ability to wear a head set, or hold a hand set for up to 8 hours in a shift
    • Ability to work flexible hours and days

    This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
