    Responsibilities

    This role within Seattle Operations is a hybrid role including a blend of vendor management/lead duties as well as certain administrative/technical responsibilities. This individual will provide support for our Network, Windows Servers and Desktop, Virtualization, Wireless, Cloud Computing, SQL, Application Support, Software Distribution and Remote Sites support. Will provide support for our business office applications, Back-up, Phone Systems as well as having conceptual knowledge of Active Directory, WAN and wireless technologies.

    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for managing and maintaining complex systems and servers. Independently solves complex system problems. Key player in system installations, major upgrades and rollout.
    • Executes the installation of new systems. Assists with the suitability analysis and possible implementation issues of new systems.
    • Independently manages multiple projects across software/hardware platforms and exercise project management skills to successfully complete the projects on time and on budget.
    • Responsible for execution of complex tasks related to resolution of major system administration issues.
    • Ensures technology best practices are followed and advises managers on the need for changes to standards and policies.
    • Executes backup's and manages major elements of disaster recovery plans.
    • Independently manages and oversee all infrastructure component including manage services.
    • Documents, tracks, and monitors chronic problems to ensure high system availability and timely resolution.
    • Maintains and updates documentation as required across multiple systems including application flow across business divisions.
    • Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
    • Develop project plan following the PMP guidelines and best practices.
    • Manage vendors and contracts manage services to fulfill business requirements.
    • Manage coordination of partners and working groups engaged in project work.
    • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan.
    • Manage project deliverables within the project plan.
    • Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary.
    • Provide status reports and communicate across department and stake holders.
    • Ensure the project is delivered on time, to budget and within agreed specifications.
    • Mentor and train employees on Project Management.
    • Act as a infrastructure liaison to all the business divisions.
    • Occasional travel to remote branches and conferences.
    • Special projects assigned such as business analysis, develop process improvement, document and roll out.

    Qualifications

    • Must have at least 5 years of work experience in a computer operations or similar IT technical position.
    • Prefer knowledge of SDLC, SQL and DB.
    • Prefer knowledge of PMP, application delivery, networking, desktops, servers and cloud computing.
    • Knowledge of Windows server, virtualization, backups, desktops, phone systems
    • Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal human relations and teaming skills.
    • Must be flexible and able to deal with a variety of details simultaneously.
    • Must have proven problem-solving skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Occasional travel might be required.
    • Prefer a college degree
