Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company. We are the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast, and we are growing. CP Fresh is a subsidiary of Charlie’s Produce that opened in 2015 and is a food processing facility located in South Park. We expanded a new kitchen line of specialty items like ready to eat fruits and vegetables, dips and much more.

Additional Compensation Details:

• $24-26 per hour Dependent on Experience 
• Potential 90-day performance-based raise
• Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure

Schedule

7am-3:30pm (or until the job is completed) – weekend flexibility as Sunday will be a required day.

The Role

 The Receiver is responsible for receiving product, slotting, assist in inventory control and quality assurance, case packing, decanting, completing proper documentation and distribution of paperwork, keeping warehouse clean and free of debris and garbage as well as other tasks assigned by supervisor. 

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

• Receive and check incoming product 
• Properly identify product and ensure quality of product 
• Offload trucks using equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
• Maintain a clean and organized work area 
• Adhering to food safety regulations, follows company safety policies and procedures  
• Other duties as assigned or necessary

Required Experience

• 1-year previous receiving experience
• 1-year experience using forklift/electric pallet jack preferred  
• RF Scanner experience a plus
• Basic math skills 
• Ability to work in a 36 degree refrigerated environment 
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to complete job functions with minimum supervision 
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
