Job Summary: To sort pallets from damaged and undamaged, stack and wrap them and load them onto the dunnage trailer.  To operate the warehouse forklift and perform various material handling duties.  To provide a safe, clean, and healthful work environment for self and other team members.   Essential Functions: - Reviews the used pallets that are staged in the loading area and separates the usable ones from the damaged pallets. - Alerts team members to any special truck loading configuration or customer delivery requirements. - Stacks sorted pallets and wraps the unusable pallets. - Operates the fork lift to move stacks of pallets around to organize them. - Conduct daily safety check of forklift trucks, restraining systems for tractor trailer trucks, and maintenance needs of over-the-road trucks. - Prior to signing out equipment performs operations and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher. - Signs out equipment daily on release form. - Loads wrapped stacks of unusable pallets onto the dunnage trailer with a forklift. - At each day's end, returns equipment to correct charging station, and prepares equipment for daily (overnight) charge. - Cleans up debris on and around the dock and area the dunnage is sorted and loaded. - Responsible for quality and food safety. - Other duties as assigned.

Facilities Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing various areas of our Warehouse and Processing building, which includes refrigeration, HVAC, basic mechanical motors, painting, carpentry etc. The person will also assist in the building electrical/plumbing repairs and other general maintenance issues. The Role   Hand Packager must ensure produce items are packaged in accordance to customer's specifications (eaches/weight) while meeting quality and productivity standards. The Role The Transportation Safety Coordinator reports directly to our corporate Director of Safety and is responsible to work with divisions to ensure they are in compliance with all local and federal state laws and regulations along with company policies. Coordinates the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents. Responsible for developing and distributing driver training materials which include on-boarding training and orientation, remedial training, and other DOT and FMCSA required trainings. The position assists in ensuring we maintain our reputable safety scores. The position will also be responsible for maintaining compliant files and records and efficient use of Hours of Service. This position requires a significant knowledge of various generally recognized workplace safety, transportation safety programs and DOT and FMCSA regulatory compliance systems.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver and vehicle compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner. - Responsible for helping manage internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, manage on-going education program. - Monitor and assist in enforcement of DOT and FMCSA regulations to ensure compliance. - Responsible for conducting all tasks associated with: - Driver Qualifications – Medical Cards/Physicals, Licenses, Annual Driving Records - Driver Training – DOT regulations, Hazmat training (all areas required for our industry) - Driver Records – Processing employment applications, DOT required documents, company policies, CSA, MVR, criminal background, PSP, etc. - DOT Drug Testing -Administer random drug screens and oversee FMCSA Clearinghouse - Reviews reporting of all vehicle and employee accidents/incidents for determination of cause and preventability and identifying potential trends. - Help oversee vehicle accident claims and identify any trends and corrective actions. - Maintain roadside inspections and citations including overweight, traffic violations, etc. - Manage the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure all recorded information is accurate and belongs to our company record. Conduct daily audits of drivers to ensure compliance and productivity through a fleet management and tracking software system. - Manage our safety incident tracker associated to all not at fault and at fault incidents. - Track monthly safety training topics and meetings for commercial and non-commercial drivers. - Validate and process the billing for background checks, drug testing, physicals, etc. - Assist with coordination of inspections, assessments, surveys, and program evaluations to identify potential hazards, and ensures compliance with all applicable safety and compliance requirements. - Maintain the small vehicle fleet safety program and help perform required periodic record checks.     -
