The Role
You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the SLC region.
Essential Responsibilities Include, And Are Not Limited To:
- Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
- Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
- Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
- Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
- All other duties as requested or assigned.
The Role
Warehouse Manager works in concert with the Operations Manager and is responsible for the supervision of all warehouse activities, receiving, proper storage to maintain product quality, picking orders and loading of product for shipping. This incumbent is responsible for loss prevention as it pertains to warehouse equipment, property, and employee bodily injuries. This position encompasses the overall management of the day warehousing functions.
Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To
- Oversee Warehouse Operations including Receiving, Operations Support, Quality/Inventory Control, Sanitation, Ripening and support of Shipping.
- Manage employee performance, hiring and corrective counseling with support from Operations
- Monitoring, evaluating and improving KPI’s in order to achieve Operation’s performance objectives.
- Monitor all activities during the day to ensure the smooth operation of the Warehouse teams.
- Ensure proper slot replenishment following the first in, first out procedure.
- Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive products at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. Such activities include receiving, forklift movement, inventory/quality control and sanitation.
- Responsible for warehouse overtime rates, communicating inventory status such as out of stock product(s) to pickers, receiving errors, picking errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
- Generates warehouse productivity reports (i.e. piece count report), in regard to receiving rates, and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect. Adheres to labor distribution requirements and works toward attaining objectives and division goals.
- Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.
- Responsible for conveying maintenance of warehouse equipment and all necessary repairs to the Maintenance Dept. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform the distribution functions.
- Recommends equipment requirements and replacement to the Operations Manager to
- upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Responsible for supporting all Food Safety Initiatives including managing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, PrimusGFS, and Organic Certification requirements.
- Responsible for support of Warehouse Safety Initiatives.
- Support and implement food safety, workplace safety and quality assurance initiatives
- Support and implement the company’s initiatives to promote positive employee morale and team building.
The Role
This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of produce sales to ensure satisfactory sales and profits for the company. Addressing the needs and insuring the satisfaction of our customers. This includes assigned customers, as well as, the accounts of other company salespersons.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Maintain a sound working knowledge of all markets and growing conditions.
- Make presentations of profitable programs to potential and existing customers.
- Notify and assist buyers, operations and sales support persons by communication of customer's needs and preferences.
- Maintain effective, professional relationships with restaurant owners, retailers, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Organize and provide assistance for special sales and promotions.
- Participate in special projects deemed necessary to the operation and well-being of the company.
- Responsible for individual accounts sales and gross profit.
- Make sure all orders are submitted before scheduled cut off times.
- Responsible for processing and turning in credit memos, responsibility forms and other job related paperwork within the set time lines.
