Schedule   Flexible days - nights- 4pm-5pm start time   The Role   Warehouse Manager works in concert with the Warehouse Operations Manager and is responsible for the supervision of all night warehouse activities, receiving, proper storage to maintain product quality, picking orders and loading of product for shipping.  This incumbent is responsible for loss prevention as it pertains to warehouse equipment, property and employee bodily injuries.  This position encompasses the overall management of the night warehousing functions and supervision of 2 supervisors as well as the evening warehouse staff.       Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To - Oversee Warehouse Operations including Receiving, Operations Support, Quality/Inventory Control, Sanitation, Ripening and support of Shipping. - Manage employee performance, hiring and corrective counseling with support from Operations - Monitoring, evaluating and improving KPI’s in order to achieve Operation’s performance objectives. - Monitor all activities during the day to ensure the smooth operation of the Warehouse teams. - Ensure proper slot replenishment following the first in, first out procedure. - Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive products at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner. - Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. Such activities include receiving, forklift movement, inventory/quality control and sanitation. - Responsible for warehouse overtime rates, communicating inventory status such as out of stock product(s) to pickers, receiving errors, picking errors, and warehouse slotting of products. - Generates warehouse productivity reports (i.e. piece count report), in regard to receiving rates, and accounts for all labor hours, both direct and indirect. Adheres to labor distribution requirements and works toward attaining objectives and division goals. - Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations. - Responsible for conveying maintenance of warehouse equipment and all necessary repairs to the Maintenance Dept. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions. - Recommends equipment requirements and replacement to the Operations Manager in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency. - Responsible for supporting all Food Safety Initiatives including managing the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System, PrimusGFS and Organic Certification requirements. - Responsible for support of Warehouse Safety Initiatives. - Support and implement the company’s initiatives to promote positive employee morale and team building.   Charlie’s Produce Total Compensation Package includes - Competitive starting pay and annual performance reviews. - We recognize and reward hard work and commitment. Job Summary:   Our Transportation Supervisors are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the department. Uphold company safety standards, compliance and standards of conduct. The Role:   We are looking for a dedicated Driver Trainer that will curate and maintain Charlie’s Produce driver training program. Which includes assisting department with program candidate screening, ensuring program parameters meet DOT, OSHA and insurance compliance, provide driving instructor for new and existing drivers. The Driver Trainer will be responsible for auditing the program for federal, state and local regulatory compliance. Perform tracking and training programs, conduct certification classes and testing of all drivers, fulfill responsibilities of a driver when required.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   - Trains, coach, assess and certify new and existing drivers on the proper use and operation of applicable equipment, CDL and DOT regulations. - Conducts ride-a-longs with new and existing drivers to develop/ improve defensive driving skills. - Document all aspects of training levels and topics for drivers to maintain compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulations, and Company policies and standards.  - Evaluate driver performance, pre-trip methods, procedures by riding with drivers, observing drills and pre-trip procedures and analyzing driver behavior.  - Re-trains drivers, following any safety incident and/or negative observations. - Helps correct unsafe acts/conditions as identified by incident analysis and or unannounced observations.  - Performs road tests. - Perform all duties of a driver including, completing vehicle safety inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, completing reports, reporting accidents. - Safely operates commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment. - Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. - Complies with all required statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policies. - Train drivers on securing load during transit, including blocking and bracing. - Train drivers on Loading and unloading trucks - Communicates with customers, supervisors, and other employees effectively. - Uses good judgment in making decisions, in emergency and routine situations.   - Other duties may be assigned.     Charlie’s Produce Total Compensation Package includes - Competitive starting pay - Medical/Dental/Vision/Employer paid life insurance/Short Term Disability Insurance after 60 days - Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) - Vacation - Holidays - Sick Pay - 50% Subsidized ORCA Pass - Employer-paid College Program - 401(k) available

  The Job:   Direct transportation safety management processes and provide overall support and guidance to both local transportation operations and all divisions.  Coordinate with Transportation Operations leadership in crafting short and long term strategies in building a culture of safety within the Transportation organization.  The manager will oversee policies and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance status for the company.  Provides training and professional development for supervisors and CMV operators.  Coordinate and manage the crash management process, conduct audits and inspections of the transportation safety management teams by coordinating with all divisions.    Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and workplace safety. - Ensure and monitoring driver qualification files and the hiring and selection process. - Overseeing and management of the Accident Reporting and Crash Management process including coordination of reporting, investigation, documentation, and management of incidents. - Oversee the continued development of our driver training program with coordination between all divisions. - Mentoring supervisors and dispatch in safety management practices, protocols and procedures - Conducting audits and inspections of private fleet and company practices to monitor compliance - Continuous follow up on Safety protocols and compliance training with Supervisors - Oversee and monitors all transportation related reporting, auditing and investigations as it pertains to compliance and safety. Including but not limited to FMCSR Regulations, CSA basic scores and reports, DQF, D&A program requirements and hours and service records. - Work with senior divisional transportation managers to schedule and conduct DOT and compliance Audits company wide - Continuous training and development of driver trainers and verifies all drivers are up to date on training and initiatives   Additional Duties: - Maintain DOT Accident Register - Report Yearly Mileage – FMCSA and Insurance - Yearly review with Great West Casualty - DVIR and Logbook supplies - Assure reasonable suspicion training for all supervisors - Write and post safety topic of the week - Work with operations safety director as needed - Other duties as directed by the transportation manager
