Job Summary: Our Food Safety Manager works in concert with our Operations, Warehouse, Quality and Safety departments, responsible for driving all business compliance and food safety programs. The incumbent is a dynamic contributor who can implement change and continue building upon our current systems. Schedule is Sunday through Friday, with Saturday and one additional day off, 6 PM-2:30 AM.    Job Summary: Technicians are responsible for cleaning an industrial kitchen and food processing facility. Technicians are responsible for the daily sanitation of floors, processing equipment, knives, buckets, etc. This position works closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all USDA and HACCP requirements are met on a nightly basis. Position requires worker to perform any combination of the following tasks to maintain sanitary work area of food production facility: Cleans floor of production area, by removing garbage, moving floor mats, picking up food items, and tearing empty cardboard boxes. Uses high pressure water hose to pre-rinse all machines, tables and work surfaces from top to bottom. Soap clean and scrub all work surfaces, machines, and implements using nylon brushes and abrasive cleaning pads. Rinses all work surfaces and equipment. Spray sanitizer on equipment, work surfaces, and floor. Cleans and sanitizes barrels, utensils, and pans using the same process. Cleans and removes debris from drains and drain pits. Empty trash and debris from containers and place in totes. Use pallet-jack (electric or manual) to move tote to the garbage disposal area. Use forklift to dump totes.   Responsible for sweeping the floor and keeping the floors free of garbage, maintaining the disposal area, and hosing down forklifts and equipment in the garbage disposal area.   Responsible for Quality and Food Safety.

Job Summary: Responsible for Supervising the Quality Control Team under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager to include (but not limited to) scheduling, day to day execution and personnel management. The Quality Team is responsible for physically inspecting fresh produce and communicating any quality issues to the appropriate departments within the Division. Responsible for obtaining the information necessary to file claims with vendors if a quality issue should arise. Quality team members are required to communicate with all departments regarding quality issues at receiving and any overstock items to the appropriate parties. This position is responsible for coordinating with the repack team to ensure that quality runs are completed in a timely fashion.   Essential Duties and Responsibities: - Oversee and direct the Quality Team - Using USDA and customer specifications, grade product for quality, condition, weights, and size. - Understand the use of the tools needed for quality inspections to include sizers, scales, calipers, and other measuring devices. - Communicate through voice and data the results of the findings. - Select specific lots of produce to be run by the repack team - Be prepared to obtain the photographs and document the necessary data to file claims with vendors. - Execute the Charlie’s Produce standard QA /QC sheet in both written and digital form. - Collaborate with all the sales, operations and purchasing teams requiring this information and other Charlie’s Produce quality personnel on specific quality issues requiring resolution. - Collaborate with the Food Safety Manager for needed federal and third party inspections to ensure resolution of issue(s). - Collaborate with the repack team regarding any specific concerns with quality assurance on product (i.e. size concerns, bruising, etc) in order to help the provider better serve Charlie’s Produce - Execute quality checks on the product in the warehouse and monitor product integrity and product rotations - As required conduct quality classes for packers and or managers teaching the specifics of produce quality. - Execute spot quality checks in coordination with the operations manager, inventory control, and production manager - Work with the Charlie’s Produce management team in order to enhance and improve all the quality functions throughout. - Responsible for Quality and Food Safety - Able to lift 40-60 pounds frequently - Other duties as assigned

Job Summary: To sort pallets from damaged and undamaged, stack and wrap them and load them onto the dunnage trailer.  To operate the warehouse forklift and perform various material handling duties.  To provide a safe, clean, and healthful work environment for self and other team members.   Essential Functions: - Reviews the used pallets that are staged in the loading area and separates the usable ones from the damaged pallets. - Alerts team members to any special truck loading configuration or customer delivery requirements. - Stacks sorted pallets and wraps the unusable pallets. - Operates the fork lift to move stacks of pallets around to organize them. - Conduct daily safety check of forklift trucks, restraining systems for tractor trailer trucks, and maintenance needs of over-the-road trucks. - Prior to signing out equipment performs operations and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher. - Signs out equipment daily on release form. - Loads wrapped stacks of unusable pallets onto the dunnage trailer with a forklift. - At each day's end, returns equipment to correct charging station, and prepares equipment for daily (overnight) charge. - Cleans up debris on and around the dock and area the dunnage is sorted and loaded. - Responsible for quality and food safety. - Other duties as assigned.
